Jonnie Harrold Burton

Jonnie Burton, our blue eyed sunshine, was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Jonnie was born on July 20, 1941 to Clyde and Edna Burton and passed away on July 13, 2014. During his lifetime, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy. After his retirement from the Navy, he owned and operated Burton Electric. Jonnie is survived by his wife, Lynn Burton; son, Bryan Burton (Deanna); daughters, Beverly Hoffman, Brenda Hayes (Robert) and Chandra Qualls (Jason); brothers, Mike and Randy; Sister, Margie Schultz (Brad); grandchildren, Bo Burton, Amanda Villalobos, Chelsey Torres, Will Hayes and 6 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his first wife of 43 years, Betty Burton; and brother, Jerry Clyde Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 19 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
