

Joe received a Certificate of Achievement for First Place in the Area of Engineering Drawing in Jacksonville and in the state. He earned the title of GIA Gemologist and worked 37 years with his father in the family business. He was a first class jeweler and a great fisherman.
Preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Ann Espling and infant son, Joseph C. Espling, Jr., he is survived by his parents; children, Samantha and Cody Espling; siblings, Laurie Espling, Ben Espling (Stevee), Mary Margaret Espling, Daniel Espling, Carl F. Espling (Danielle), and Arne Espling (Ashley); numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 16, 2013 in San Jose Catholic Church, 3619 Toledo Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32217 with Monsignor Mortimer Danaher as Celebrant.
