Josephine C. Underkofler

Josephine C. Underkofler, 85, passed away September 30, 2013. A native of Jacksonville, she lived here most of her life and attended local schools. She married her high school sweetheart, Robert Underkolfler and they were married for over 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Frances (Dyer) Clary and her sister, Gwendolyn Poppell.

Surviving are her dear husband, Robert, three sons, Dr. Robert J. (Helen) Underkofler, Dr. Steven J. (Janet) Underkofler, David J. (Anne) Underkofler, 7 loving grandchildren, Robby, Adam, Andy, Jason, Jared, Hannah and Ian and many dear friends.

An avid reader, she also enjoyed traveling with her husband, playing bridge with good friends and most of all, spending time with her family.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 5 at 2:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32207.
