

He entered this world with his womb-mate, Justin, on March 10, 1987. Their parents Linda and Scott had double the trouble with those two boys! Thankfully, they had two older brothers, Jeremy and Scotty to teach them the ropes and help look after them.
Joshua grew up playing baseball and football. He could still throw a 92 mile-per-hour fastball! He spent many nights with his Grandad, Henry and Grandmother Inez learning his country boy ways from hunting to fishing, even loving some fried squirrel. When his little sister Megan arrived, he wanted to be the best big brother. Then a few years later he had his “little” Keithy on the scene. Josh loved not being the youngest boy anymore. He loved all his siblings even his bonus brother Jay Bird. His MacGyver skills were in full force at a young age from using lawn mowers for go-karts to inventing his own tattoo gun. Josh started learning different trades and his passion for creating things started from his Uncle Ray and Uncle Randy they had had him laying bricks and that’s where his love for patterns and building took off. However, he knew he was a chip off the old block, like his Dad, his words – “A spitting image” even down to the love for wood working.
In 2012 the love of his life Kendall Bug entered this world. He knew she needed a lifelong playmate so in 2014 Sammy Hammy was born with her big green eyes like him. He felt complete. He loved his daughters beyond words.
In 2017 he met his lover-face Shana and they got married August 11, 2018. They had a combined family of three girls and two boys – Jocelyn, Kendall, Sammy, Taylor and Jordan. They also have their three little dudes , the grands – Shane, Colin, and Lawson and recently his newest little lady, Isla.
On Easter, April 9, 2023 Josh, Shana, Kendall, and Shane were baptized in front of friend and family at Christ Church of Mandarin. He loved Jesus fiercely and would sing his praises. Now he is singing with the Angels. Josh’s encounter with Jesus in June of 2022 changed his life and he longed to be in the presence of his savior.
Josh loved working in his garden and had a passion for roses but his favorite little flowers are Paisley and Lilly. When he needed a break from all the girls, he loved his quiet moments with Kylie and her famous hugs. Josh loved the family and the gatherings that Angie always organized to the story time with Tyler. He always looked forward to table talk with Lorie and Gracyn’s baking. His family would like to express some final thoughts, From his family – praying that in the midst of this tough time, we will know he has the love of Jesus and the peace only he can bring. As God calls us one by one, we will all be brought back together again. Now he’s finally at peace, so it’s our turn to live life to the fullest for him. Each of us are given the gift of life every morning when we wake up, and every evening when we finish our day. We are blessed if our family is safe and healthy. In a blink of an eye our world has been turned upside down. Always be mindful, understanding, and forgiving to others as one day you may have missed the chance. May Josh rest in peace with his grandfather who we know is watching over him even before he was born. You are forever loved. You will be forever missed . Seventy-Seven times Seven. 7/17/2023.
