Joyce Blair Lilly

A loving Mother and homemaker, Joyce was a remarkable cook and baker. She collected a large library of cookbooks and eventually found her passion as a Chocolatier. She also enjoyed reading and traveling and will always be remembered for her exuberant smile, patriotism, and love for Jesus Christ.

Joyce is preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Walter Lilly; sisters, Mable Ann McQuage and Wilma J. Mathis. She is survived by her three children, Sharon Murchison, Jacksonville, FL; Shawn Murchison (Stacy), Jacksonville, NC; Lawrence Murchison, Oregon; brother, James Johnson (June), Chester, SC; grandchildren, Kayla, Brett, Samantha, Lauren, Richard, Trent, Kurtis, Neil; great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Shawn, Katherine, Hannah, Lara, Hayden, Anistyn; nieces, Melissa, Kimberly, Betsy and one nephew, John.

A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held on Saturday, July 27 from 5pm-7pm at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. Interment will be at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC on Tuesday, July 30.
