

Judith Lynn Horne, 66, passed away on Friday March 2, 2018, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Marshall, Texas on January 11, 1952, to John Otis Parker and Bonnie Wayne Cade Parker. Judith was a very outgoing person, loved people and never met a stranger. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching football with her husband. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she sang in the church choir for over 30 years. Her beautiful voice allowed her to have the privilege to sing in the Orlando Temple Dedication Choir. Judith is survived by her husband of 35 years, Colin W. Horne, Jr.; daughter, Jennifer Renee Bobbitt; son, Stephen Michael Bobbitt; sister, Elaine Bobbitt; and grandson, Brayden Bobbitt. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL with Bishop Robert Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests in memoriam donations be made to Judith’s church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4087 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32207. The family wishes to thank Judith’s friends, especially her Church friends, for the much love, compassion and assistance given to Judith for the years she struggled with Lou Gehrig’s disease.
