Judith Anne Laufer

Judith “The Pretty One” Laufer, of Jacksonville, passed away on February 25, 2015, after a life filled with love and humor. Retired from real estate since 2010, Judy’s days were happily spent travelling with friends and family, relaxing on her lanai, planning gourmet meals, at San Jose Episcopal School with grandson Jack, and rocking, singing and playing with granddaughter Evie. One of her recent favorite accomplishments was teaching her grandson Jack how to swim. Judy’s favorite Holiday was Thanksgiving, she spent weeks planning a feast for friends and family. Judy was predeceased by her beloved parents, Floyd and Mary Anne Farr and her brother, Johnny. She is survived by her loving husband, Jay; son, Jordon (Tiffany) of Jacksonville; brother, Jack (Lynda) of Haymarket Virginia; step-daughters, Staci and Melyssa; grandchildren, Delani, Logan, Shea, Hunter Evan, Jack, Evie, and half angel / half Shih Tzu Chewie. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 14 at San Jose Episcopal Church 7423 San Jose Blvd, Jax, FL 32217 with the Rev. Stephen C. Britt officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to The Fund for San Jose Episcopal Day School.
