Judith McWherter Lowe

April 26th ,1945 Portsmouth, Virginia – May 15th, 2024, Orange Park, Florida

Judith Lowe was a wonderful wife to Charles Eugene Lowe and Mother to four children Kenneth Charles Lowe, Susan Eileen Lowe, Kimberly Ann Lowe and Charles E. Lowe.

She is survived by daughter Kimberly Lowe, her grand-daughters Sarah Reynolds, Clara Lang( Greg), Lynsie Bailey (A.J.), and Ayla Lowe, her great-grandchildren Abrie Rench, Alisha Lang,Tyler Bailey, and Tanner Bailey. Judith is preceded in death by her husband Charles Eugene Lowe and three of their children Charles E. Lowe, Susan Eileen Lowe, and Kenneth Lowe.

Judith was a dedicated wife and mother. Her greatest role she often said “was being a grandmother”. Her close to 30 plus years as an accountant also gave her great joy.

While she was awfully proud of her children and career, her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She enjoyed being a “Grammy” to her four granddaughters, two great-granddaughters and two great- grandsons. She was a supporter of programs that benefited children with special needs and always helped and supported her fellow neighbors. Judith loved music and could often be found at Elvis impersonator events or a Jimmy Buffet concert. She loved saltwater fishing and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Her favorite place to be was at Sanibel Island with her family. She and Charles also loved cruising the Caribbean together.

While her family will feel her absence, we will know “ for when the cold winds blow, we will close our eyes calmly, knowing that we are anchored to her.” T. Gregson

A visitation for Judith will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hardage - Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
