Julie was a teacher at Mandarin Middle School where both her students and coworkers loved her. A FSU and Jaguar fan, she enjoyed boating, movies, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 29 years, Mitchell Shepherd; children, Haley Shepherd, Jarrod Shepherd, and Beau Shepherd; sisters, Jan Langston, Janice Covington, and Cora Nebel; along with other family members and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3rd in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. The Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4th in The Church of Eleven22, 14286 Beach Blvd. Suite 2, Jacksonville, FL 32250 with Chaplain Cris Garrard as Officiant.
