

June Craft Stone, only daughter of Fred and Tiburtius Craft, was born January 11,1922 in Blue Rapids, Kansas and departed this life on February 4, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was united in marriage to Robert W. Stone on August 18, 1945 in Kansas City, Kansas. Robert preceded her in death on February 13,1974. June was a member of Southside Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and after her husband's death she worked in childcare, which she cherished.
Survivors include Vicki Stone Burns (daughter) of Jacksonville, Florida; Dianne Stone Renfort
(daughter) and her husband Clark of Laytonville, California; Robert W. Stone, Jr. (son) and his wife, Irene B. Stone of Plano, Texas and seven grandchildren, who were the love of her life, Katherine Burns Goertz, Lauren Renfort Alberts, Hadyn Renfort, Lane Renfort, Lindsay Stone Rose, Brooke Stone Mosor, Jacqueline Stone and three great granddaughters, Olivia Goertz, Makena Rose and Kylee Rose. She had wonderful neighbors and friends whom she loved dearly.
She always had a smile on her face and was a kind and gracious person to those she knew and loved. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Taylor Care Center, Taylor Manor, Dr. Louis Akra and staff and 'the girls' for their guidance and loving care.
The family will receive visitors at 1:00 P.M. at Hardage-Giddens, Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville on Saturday, February 17, 2018, with a Memorial Service at 2:00P.M. to be immediately followed by a graveside service in Oaklawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Samuel C. Taylor Foundation or Southside United Methodist Church.
