Kathy Derrick, as she was known by many, was an accomplished individual. Kathy graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in telecommunications activities and societies, with a GPA of 3.97 Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa Tau Sigma, National Honor Society. She also attended Harvard Business School with an executive MBA in digital strategy. She also volunteered at the Broward College and Habitat for Humanity International.
Kathy is survived by her wife, Nancy Vickers, and three sisters Robin, Bonnie and Deborah. Kathy is deeply remembered by her niece Emily and her brother-in-law Noel.

Viewing will begin at 12 PM on Saturday, July 26, 2025. A graveside service will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery at 1 PM.
