STARLING- Kenneth C. Starling, 71, of Florahome passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Kenneth was a Jacksonville native having graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in 1959 and had served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a pipefitter, by trade, and had retired from Rayonier in Fernandina Beach. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 17 at 12:30 PM at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 AM Interment will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery. His surviving family includes: his 5 children, JoAnn (Mickey) Alms, April Starling, Freida (Wayne) Speicher, K. C. (Pat) Starling, Jr. and Wade Starling; his 2 sisters, Linda Bury and Lucille Ogden; brothers, William and Robert Starling; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
