Kenneth Warren

Kenneth Warren, 76, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017. Mr. Warren was a native of Braggadocio, Missouri and a longtime resident of Jacksonville. He was an active member of Gardenview Baptist Church. Kenneth was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of VFW Post #7909, American Legion Post #137 and was a Retired Veterans Service Officer, proudly assisting veterans transition back to civilian life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Opal Keith and Gladys Warren; a daughter, Kim Foudy; a great grandson, Anthem Motes and three brothers, Tom Bell, Fin Bell, and Danny Warren. Survivors include his wife, Betty Warren; five daughters, Gae Motes (Larry), Wanda Chasez, Millie Woodward (Charles), Audrey Tompkins (Tim) and Lori Williams; one son, Keith Warren; 25 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am Monday, May 1, at Gardenview Baptist Church, 3139 Armsdale Road, with Dr. Rodney K. Keith officiating. Interment will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 am Monday at the church.
