Born on September 8, 1967, Kerry “Bill” Daniels, age 51, was peacefully called home on June 26, 2019.

Bill, full of life, grew up in Alexandria, Virginia and relocated to Jacksonville, Florida in 2000 with his wife and daughter. He was a respected mechanic and handy man, working various automotive and landscaping positions over his 15+ years while in Jacksonville. In his spare time, he enjoyed telling stories, seeking adventures with his children, traveling, working on cars, and spending time with his friends and family. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a free spirit who enjoyed life and played by his own rules.

Bill was proceeded in death by his parents Willie and Carrie Daniels; siblings, Alicia Bryant, Michael Daniels, Donald Bryant, Sherita Daniels; sons Kerry and Kendell Daniels.

Bill preferred not being the center of attention, so in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local animal shelter. No services are scheduled at this time.

My opinion of a father is someone who is willing to step up and take care of his family. When picking up and moving to Florida, Bill stood in for my father and fulfilled this role within the family that he and my mom created. Everyday throughout my adolescence and into adulthood, I was able to experience life with him. Teaching me how to drive, experiencing fights at school, graduations, birthday parties, grilling at my Sorority events, fixing on our cars, and taking care of the random dogs he found (especially Tank), are just highlights of the experiences that I’ll cherish for the rest of my life; thank you, Bill.

My heart is content in knowing that you are resting in peace with those that were closest to your heart. We will continue to hold you and your legacy down.

Mr Bill ~
It was a GREAT pleasure meeting & having you as my neighbor the past few years. I could always look out the window and see you doing something for someone or taking a walk with Curtis & Jermaine always right there with you riding one of their MANY gadgets you provided for them. Never selfish ~ always willing to help but never wanted me to pay you. When I say "Mr Bill, what do I owe ya" , I always knew the answer before you said it "Just give me something". You taught Curtis & Jermaine alot in their younger years and I know they will make you proud. Tasha, Curtis, Jermaine & family ~ I'm praying for you ~ weeping may endure for one night but JOY comes in the morning. Rest on my neighbor ~ you will be missed!!

Daddy, there were so many things that we should have said, but time was on our side. I’m so happy that I had the chance to spend time with you before god called you home. I’ll never forget about the memories we were able to share.
Your first born and one and only daughter!

Bill was a funny person. He always was doing something to make you laugh. Bill loved himself some dogs too. Every time you look around either he rescued a dog or just brought one for his kids. He will be missed but, never forgotten.
