Krista was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Nancy Aune.
She is survived by her brother Stephen Aune, and her children Morganne, Ryan, and Ethan Lander.
Krista was a member of the San Juan del Rio Catholic parish. In addition to being a loving mother, she also loved caring for animals. She owned Julington Creek Pet Sitting Services, enjoyed the opportunity to care for other’s pets, and treated them like they were her own.
There will be no visitation.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated at the Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223 on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11 am with Father John Tetlow presiding. A reception will follow the memorial service.
