Kyle’s greatest loves in life were his family, food, music, his dogs, and most of all Cheyenne and their son Miles. He never missed an opportunity to pull out every pan in the kitchen and create an amazing meal from whatever was in the refrigerator or to grab Miles or Cheyenne and dance around the room to whatever music was playing. He probably loved cooking almost as much as he did his family and his dogs. A sweet, kind, and protective person throughout his life, always taking care of those who needed it most. Kyle was funny and clever, and never hesitated to act silly just to make someone else smile. His funny impressions would make us all roll with laughter. His smile was beyond beautiful and totally contagious.
His sister Tay called him “Bug” and was his best friend from the day he came into this world. They were inseparable and spent hour after hour drawing, painting and just hanging out together. He loved art. He was protective and an extremely loving son and always made homemade dinner and cake for Mother’s Day. His heart was the biggest on this Earth. A hunter from a young age, his father taught him a respect for hunting and to always love nature.
He was always a protector and good friend to anyone who needed one. He, like his mom, believed that dogs were the closest thing to God on this earth. He loved basketball and skateboarding, and he wanted to travel the world. He loved Hawaii and wanted to return there someday. Above all, he loved his new young family and was an amazing father.
Kyle is survived by his 6 month old son, Miles August Weitnauer; mother, Trudy Mauldin Hunter; father, Alan John Weitnauer; sister, Taylor Rose Stroble; brother-in-law, Justin Stroble; niece, Aubree Stroble; step-father, Kyle Hunter; step-siblings, Alexis and Damian Hunter; grandmothers, Eileen Weitnauer and Joann Clark; uncles, Kern G Maudlin III, Michael Weitnauer, Robert Weitnauer, Terry Allen, and James Lowery; aunt, Tamie Morgan; his girlfriend and son’s mother, Cheyenne Burke; as well as many cousins and loved ones.
Our family will be planning a Celebration of Life at a later date to be determined. In lieu of flowers or other mementos, donations are greatly appreciated to help provide for Kyle’s son, Miles August Weitnauer, age 6 months, on GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/f/miles-weitnauer-surviving-son-of-kyle-weitnauer
