URSO - Kym Thornton Urso, age 52, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born October 6, 1963 in St. Augustine, Florida to Thomas Harold and Ann Elizabeth (Furey) Thornton. Kym was preceded in death by her father Thomas Thornton. Kym was a graduate of Terry Parker High School in 1981. She enjoyed being outdoors doing landscaping and taking trips to the beach. Kym leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Brittany Taylor Urso; son, Eric Ryan Urso; mother, Anne Elizabeth Furey Thornton; sister, Debi Thornton Butler (Stephen); niece, Ashley Ervin Hillyer (Kevin); nephew Joshua Ervin; great nieces and great nephews and three cousins; ex-husband, Frank Urso; as well as many friends. A Memorial Mass celebrating Kym’s life will be 11:00 am Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3383 University Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32277.
