Laura Rothwell Fisher

Laura Rothwell Fisher of Charleston, South Carolina and Fleming Island, Florida went to be with her Lord on May 15, 2014. She was predeceased by her loving husband, James Robert Fisher, daughter Bobbie Jean Hilbert, son-in-law Frank Eason, granddaughter Melody Huntley, and grandsons Timothy Eason and Lance Hilbert.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Eason of Fleming Island, Florida, son and daughter-in-law Jim and Beverly Fisher of Charleston, South Carolina, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.

Laura had a deep devotion to her Savior Jesus and to her family. She was a member of Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church for many years. She was humble and always a servant. Her mission was to nursing homes and hospitals. Everyone adored her.

Funeral service will be at Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church, 4001 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32207 on May 27th at one o’clock in the afternoon with Dr. Kyle Reese officiating. Friends may visit from twelve o’clock until the start of the service at the church. A reception will follow the service at the church. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida after the reception.
