

Lauren Paige DuFresne, 25, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2012. Lauren was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 28, 1987 and moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1988. Lauren was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend to many. She was an accomplished volleyball player and athlete, as well as an extraordinary student throughout Bishop Kenny and The University of Florida. She was a rising star in the financial industry whose limits were endless.
She will be sadly missed by many and will always be remembered as the beloved mother of her best companion, Bailey, her precious lab who never left her side. We miss you, love you, and will always keep dear to our hearts the precious moments and times together. Love you always and forever. She was employed by Fidelity Information Services as a financial analyst immediately following college graduation. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. At The University of Florida, she was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.
Lauren is preceded in death by her sister, MacKenzie Rose DuFresne, and grandparents, Ernest and Rose DuFresne. She is survived by mother, Mary Kay Staver (Rich); father, Donald Morgan DuFresne; brother, Parker Ernest DuFresne; sister, Brooke Madison Staver; aunts: Linda Schmidt, Debbie Freeman DuFresne, Deborah DuFresne, Maryellen DuFresne, Krissy Rynn, Bev Sorrentino, and Kelly Staver; uncles: Ernie DuFresne, Bob DuFresne, Jeff DuFresne, Dave Wilhelms, Corey Staver, and Mike Staver; cousins: Renee Taylor, Kelly Verlatti, Jodi Warhanek, Denise Schwartz, Johna Baxa, Nicole Wolfe, Jennifer DuFresne, Deidre DuFresne, Morgan DuFresne, Robby DuFresne, Michael DuFresne, Jeff Bryant, Christian Staver, Cailey Staver, and Savannah Staver.
Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 6th in St. Joseph's Main Church, 11730 Old St. Augustine Rd, Jacksonville, FL followed by interment in the church cemetery.
