Lillian E. Young, 65, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008. A native of Valdosta, Georgia, Mrs. Young was a longtime resident of Jacksonville and was a member of Gardenview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Aline Hancock and Mary Allen. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Noah James Young; two sons, James Dale (Amy) Young and Randy Neal (Marilyn) Young; two Sisters, Maxine Hadaway and Eloise Rowin; one brother, Elbert Green; five grandchildren, Ashton (Brandon) Shoemaker, Brittny Young, Kyle Young, Dylan Young and Christopher Young; a former daughter-in-law, Sandra Young; other loving family and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, April 19, at Gardenview Baptist Church, 3139 Armsdale Road N., with Rev. Steve N. Wagers officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday (TODAY) at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Avenue.
