Born in Homer, Michigan, to Marguerite and Grove Smock, she built a fulfilling life through a career in parenthood, nursing, and hospitality. Linda was deeply passionate about knitting, family history, and crafting. She will be remembered for her kindness, tenacity, and good nature.
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved partener, Ron; her siblings, Donna, Gail, and Denny; her parents, Marguerite and Grove. She is survived by her children, April, Michael, and Marie; and her grandchildren, Aden Victoria, Kendall, Camden, Cole, Lena, Roger, and Zahia.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 3rd, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Forest Boulevard Baptist Church, 4210 Forest Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32246.
