Linda Lane Kight passed on April 29, 2026, at the age of 80, and was a resident of Jacksonville, Florida. Linda was born on June 10, 1945 in High Springs, FL to Riley Lowell Thomas and Sadie Virginia Stillwell Thomas. Linda was employed and retired from Baptist Medical Center of Jacksonville. She was a member of West Jacksonville Primitive Baptist Church.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Sadie Thomas; and her son, James Henry Kight, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Sue Kight; her grandchildren Brandy Kinchen, James Henry Kight, Jr., Million Kight, and Jessica Kight; and several great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at West Jacksonville Primitive Baptist Church, 8960 Old Plank Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32220, US, on May 15, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location on May 15, 2026, at 11:00 am.
A Committal Service will take place at New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Co Rd 1493, Alachua, FL 32615, US, on May 15, 2026.
