

Linda was born in Jacksonville in 1946 to Albert and Ann Johnson. She attended Forrest High School and subsequently joined the workforce. She was married to George Nail for 48 years until his passing in 2018. She was a member of Fruit Cove Baptist Church. Linda had a deep love for Jesus and her family. She enjoyed practicing hospitality and had a creative mind.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Johnson and Ann Brown, and her husband, George Nail. She is survived by her sister, Charlotte Johnson, brother, Albert Johnson Jr., her two daughters, Kelli Collins and Kristin Scroggins (Jimmy), ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a niece, and three nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday morning, October 30, 2024, at 10:30am at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32223. There will be a reception immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeast Florida.
