As a colleague of Dr. Linda Wilson, she and  I had a number of patients in common. Without exception, her patients appreciated her kind and thoughtful care. Often, my wife and I would encounter Linda and Don at neighborhood restaurants in the Baymeadows/Mandarin area. It was clear how much in love with each other they were. I feel honored to have known Linda and am saddened to learn of her passing.

Dr. Wilson,
It has saden me to know that you have gained your wings but you will never be forgotten. Dr. Wilson was my PCP for several years at UF Health and I enjoyed going in to see her. She was was always very patient and she took her time with your care, she would go through everything to make sure that nothing was missed. She made sure that youre every need was met  and never ignored, And I was greatful to have her as my PCP.  You will never be forgotten and each time that I go to the Clinic I will make sure to salute you with a kiss to heaven. You were the MVP. And you will always be missed. I am praying for your family. be blessed. 

My condolences to the family of doctor Wilson. I just opened a letter from UF Health advising of her passing and the news has really ruined my day. Dr. Wilson was a great doctor and very thorough. She never made you feel rushed when she was with you. You will truly be missed Dr. Wilson.

I thought today on Mother's day would be a perfect Day to share a memory of Linda. I met her many years ago when she was only about 9. Her cousin Tom ( 18 months later my husband)  brought me to Linda’s family’s home for Thanksgiving dinner. It was lovely. As I helped with the dishes I dropped one of the cups and it shattered. Gloria was very nonchalant and said no problem.  Linda just looked and sadly said that was my moms new dishes!!  As protective as Linda was  of her mom, she has also been protective as a mom. She was a courageous woman always battling her cancer with grace and determination. She wanted to be able to be there for her children and she was!  She made sure to make many special times with each one of her children so that they would have wonderful memories to look back on to help them through the special and sometimes difficult days in their lives. She was a wonderful role model for them. She will be sorely missed by all of us who loved her dearly   Happy Mother’s Day Linda.    Well done good and faithful servant !  Love Barb

Dr Manning Wilson has been my doctor for over 15 years. She had the best bedside manner of any doctor I have ever had. She listened, heard and provided best advice. Not always what you wanted to hear but what was best for your living your best life. She became my aunt’s, my son and my friend’s doctor because she truly cared about YOU! 
I ran into her at the Y downtown on the treadmill. We talked the entire while. She truly loved her patients.
Know you will miss her but  God took one of his Angels home to be with him! Thank you All for sharing your wife, your mom, your daughter and your sister with Us!

Linda and Don have been our sweet neighbors for years.  A special memory I have is an evening at Santioni's Restaurant.  Santioni's was a favorite of theirs and they really enjoyed listening to the piano player.  That evening, Linda,  Don, Gloria (Linda's Mom), my husband and I had enjoyed a delicious meal and were listening to the piano.  The pianist knew their favorite song and as he played it for them, Linda and Don sat, held hands and as they gazed at each other, you could just feel the love they shared for each other.  What a blessing to have had such a wonderful marriage.

Over 20 years ago when I met you.   It was a special meeting. We would always say that we was sisters from different Mothers.   Sharing everything.   Marriage questions. How we Love our  Mothers, and yes our Children how they change careers.
But, we had God as our number one Father. I knew the last time when I saw you in the office that was going to be my last hung and song with you.  I will always love you! There will never be another

Dr. Wilson was my PCP for about 12 years.  We became friends not just doctor/patient.   We talked about her children, my grandchildren,  our lives, our faith.  She was a brilliant doctor and all of her advice was accurate.   I wish her loved ones my deepest sympathy over their loss, she was a wonderful woman. 

To the Family of Dr. Wilson:

I have dreaded this day since I found out that she was sick.  Dr. Wilson fought her illness with so much strength and I know that was just her belief in God to see her through.  Dr. Wilson was more than a doctor to me, she was a friend and confidant.  She cared about her patient's well-being and overall health.  She took the time to stay during each visit and make sure that every concern was addressed and I will cherish the time I have known her for the rest of my life.

Dr. Wilson, rest well my friend and I promise to continue to make my overall health a number one priority, just as you have always wanted.

Linda was my best friend for more than 25 years. We worked together at UF. We taught a CME course together for the FMA for decades. I was the maid of honor at her wedding. I teased her that I had to be the oldest maid of honor ever! Everyone asked us if we were sisters.  We certainly acted like we were. We always talked about major decisions and we supported each other in the best possible way. We also had lots of fun sharing meals, going shopping and talking about everything like sisters do. 

I will always remember Linda as a kind, loving, protective, generous and beautiful best friend/sister.  I am so grateful to her. I know she will always be an important part of my life.  Her spirit is with me. I find comfort in knowing she is with God in heaven.

Linda is patty and  my cousin and a very special person. She has always been a very positive and inspiring person and loving. The last time we saw her was in December 2019 and had a great time with her and her husband. She was very vivacious and positive and again loving. She was a person that  was willing to experience  NEW things and be truly missed. 

I feel thankful and honored to have known Linda, even if I only got to spend a short time with her. Most of what I know about her, came through the eyes and memories of her amazing mom. Linda didn’t know it but she will always be my hero. She fought harder and held her faith stronger than 20 people put together. She lived life to the fullest and didn’t waste a minute of it. 
I will forever picture her as she looked the day we went to the French Pantry, dressed in her beautiful Parisian outfit.  
I pray for comfort for her beautiful family, knowing that she will be dearly missed by all.

We have had many blessings and some miracles as Linda was being challenged.  Eight years she was challenged by Stage 4 Colon Cancer that progressed to her liver, lungs and brain.  God was always in control.

Doctor Wilson has been my doctor for many many years. She was always professional. I could talk to her about anything and I mean anything. Dr.Wilson is the reason I am still here today cause she fought for me to get the medical treatment I needed in a timely manner. This saddens me to even be writing this. Doctor Linda Wilson you will be greatly missed. Thank you for all you have every done. Rest well... Praying for the family strength.


I worked closely with Dr Wilson as a medical assistant at UF health Lem Turner. She was amazing with her patients she loved her Job, Children and Family. Dr Wilson Thank you for allowing me to learn from you as I furthered my education you will Truly be missed. 

She was my Primary Care Physician always so thorough and caring.  I will miss her so much.  My condolences  to her family.

To Donald and all of Linda’s family. We are sad to hear of Linda’s death but she has put up such a good fight in this long hard battle with that stupid cancer. Cancer doesn’t pick and choose. Any of us or our loved ones are subject to it. My prayer for you Donald is to be lifted up this Easter with our promise of “the peace that passeth all understanding” and that He Has Risen.! Alleluia! I will miss my wonderful sister.  Linda was always my guiding light, friend, symbol of strength and inspiration.  Linda, you will always be with me.  You will inspire me to live life to the fullest, always appreciate each day, do every excursion  on your vacation and always take time to to listen to other’s people perspectives.  

Linda was a gym friend of mine, and she was one of the hardest workers on the floor. She NEVER quit, even between sets in a class, while the rest of us collapsed momentarily, Linda continued to do something, usually something difficult. This was, I believe, a metaphor for her life: She never quit. I will remember Linda every time I see a treadmill raised up to its highest elevation, every time I see a blue chrome manicure, every time I turn on NPR. I will listen this Sunday, Easter, to Andrea Bocelli, who will sing on You Tube from the Milan Cathedral. She loved Bocelli, so this will be a fitting tribute to her memory: a concert sung on the day we celebrate the risen Christ, Linda's support and life guard. May she rest in peace.

Family know that your loved one meant so much to so many. She will be greatly missed. You have my condolence in  the lost of your love one.  I Pray  that you will find comfort in treasured memories of her.  God bless you.
