Lisa G Pappy, 57, went home to be with the Lord on September 14,2022. She was born on March 29,1965 in Titusville, Florida to Zerney L Pappy Jr. and Nancy Hartley Pappy. She was a graduate of Wolfson High School. She is preceded in death by her father, Zerney L Pappy Jr. and Mother, Nancy Hartley Pappy. She is survived by her daughter, August (Johnny) Douglas, Brothers Randy and Mark (Tina) Pappy, Sisters Lori Wade and Melanie Smith as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Lisa attended nursing school where she became a phlebotomist. She worked for the Florida Blood Alliance for many years. She later moved to Nashville, Tennessee where she worked at Tennessee Hospital. She moved back to Jacksonville to be with her family and friends and started a lawn care business than moved onto assisting at a local Law Firm.
Lisa had an innate intelligence, sense of humor and pleasantness about her. She had the gift to easily hold conversations with just about anyone. She loved her family and spending quality time with them. Through the years Lisa faced several challenges, including many regarding her health. These challenges only increased in occurrence and severity over the past few years. The amount of pain she was in is impossible to even imagine. However, she did not allow these challenges to define who she was. In the face of them, she remained a steadfast and supportive figure in the lives of everyone she held dear. Her presence, light and who she was throughout her life never dimmed in the eyes of anyone who was fortunate enough to be part of through her compassion, love, kindness and energy. She will greatly be missed. We love you Lee Lee.
The Family will be having a Private Celebration of Life on October 8th, 2022.
