Your are here reading this because of the early and untimely death of Lloyd (Deymieloyd) Andrade. He was taken to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday April 6 2013 at to all too young age of 33. He was involved through no fault of his own in a tragic motorcycle accident while riding to work, “LOOK TWICE FOR MOTORCYCLES”. It means someone’s life. The world felt empty the day Lloyd passed. He wasn’t just a son, a brother, a husband and a father, he was the link the kept the chain of our lives together.
Lloyd was born March 1, 1980 in Manila, Philippines to a loving mother Geronima Delfin Marr. He was brought to America and was raised in the time honored traditions of the Asian culture by his mother and step father Alex Marr. This gave him the ultimate respect for family, his loving wife and their two year old son, and for his fellow man that he interacted with on an everyday basis. He was reared with his older sister, Maralee “Ate” Sessions, a step brother Jeffery Marr, and a younger sister Alexandra Bock.
As a husband he was dedicated to his wife, Lisa, 24 hours day. This so impressed the neighbors that they commented on how the two were never apart, whether it was a trip to the store or to the delivery room. They met when children and have dated for 14 plus years. The consummation of their love came on June 9, 2011 when their son Jayden Lloyd Andrade was born. For Twenty two months he has been the kind of father text books are written about. On hand 24/7/365 as we say in modern jargon. Their special time was a daily walk for over an hour. Each had a stick and had to hit every tree they passed. A father son bond was never stronger.
He carried this care for his fellow man to Publix where he worked as a warehouse selector. The men he labored with were always encouraged as he always smiled. He was always ready with friendly advice. He always had a genuine smile to lend to anyone who needed one. Even the word love feels empty when being used.
Lloyd is preceded in death by his Mother-in-Law Dotty Spring just 4 months ago. Survivors include wife and son Elisabeth Spring and Jayden Andrade, step father Alex Marr, his mother, Geronima Marr, sisters Maralee and Alexandra, and step brother Jeffery, father-in-law Mark Spring, sister-in-law Rebecca Spring, brother-in-laws Anthony “Chris” Sessions, Daniel Bock, and Daniel Sander, and nephew Christopher Sessions.
Who knows why this happened? Maybe God needed an extra pair of special hands or just Lloyd’s smile to brighten up heaven even more. He will be missed, but never forgotten. Our memories must never die. We are thankful to have a little bit of Lloyd in all of us…let him shine through.
Even if you didn’t know Lloyd you may have been touched by him. He was the cool breeze you feel on a hot summer day, he was the first laugh after you’ve cried. He was the feeling you get when your first tell some you love them. He was our strength in time of need. He was….
