Lon was a devoted husband, father and friend. He served his country for 8 years in the Army and was also a Vietnam Veteran. He loved his country, the Army, football, playing cards, golf and most importantly THE Buffalo Bills! He was also an active member of The Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 54 years, Carol; daughter Rachael; grandchildren Kourtlon and Kenedi; sisters Lynne, Marilyn, and Bonnie; Brothers Martin, Marlin (Charlie) and Gary. Lon was preceded by his father Marlin ; mother Betty; sister Connie; and brother Larry.
Services will be held at 5:00pm on Monday October 11, 2021 at The Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. The Committal Service will follow at 9:30am on Tuesday October 12, 2021 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
