SWANSON-- Lorene W. Swanson, 68, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011. Mrs. Swanson was a Jacksonville native and long-time member of Northside Fellowship Church of the Nazarene, 10310 Lem Turner Rd. where funeral services will be held Friday, July 15th at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park. Mrs. Swanson will be remembered as a loving Christian lady who was always willing to help anyone. Surviving family includes: her 3 children, Marlene (Paul) McFarland, David (Christine) Swanson and Ronald (Tiffany) Swanson; 3 sisters, Nora Farmer, Barbara Screws and Evelyn Amos; a brother, Jimmy Williams; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
