Lorenz "Larry" W. Schneider Jr. 66, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 14, 2012. Larry resided in St. Johns, FL, retired from CSX, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving four years as a Sergeant. He was born on September 27, 1946 to parents, Lorenz and Dorothy Schneider (now deceased) in Scranton, PA. He is survived by a loving wife of 43 years, Sandra Schneider, a son, Mark Schneider, two daughters, Rachelle (Michael) Akers and Loren Schneider, grandchildren Samantha and Nathaniel Akers, and two sisters, Lorraine (Dick) Kelly, and Mary Lou (Larry) Sull.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday the 20th at San Juan del Rio Catholic Church, 1714 SR 13, Saint Johns, FL 32259. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in Mr. Schneider's name.
