Lucia Flores Aguilar

Lucia Flores Aguilar, born in the Philippines in 1917, dies peacefully on October 1, 2010 and went home to be with the Lord and her husband, Emilio Sr, and her son, Ernesto. She is remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a caring friend to all who knew her. She was born in Manila, Philippines on March 5, 1917. Lucia was a devout Catholic who was loved and adored by all who knew her. She is survived by her children: Emilio Jr. (Angelita), Laura (Jorge), Edgardo (Patricia), Lina (Robert), Lucila (Felix), Efren (Perseeh) and Lulu (Manuel); her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two sisters, Locrecia Flores David and Maura Flores Castillo. The family will receive friends from 5pm – 8pm on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, with a rosary service at 7pm led by Deacon Stan at Resurrection Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church at 10am on Thursday, October 7, 2010. “Our appreciation and love goes to the staff of Palm Garden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Resurrection Catholic Church in memory of Mrs. Lucia Flores Aguilar. Please leave condolences at www.greenlawnjacksonville.com.
