Madelyn Dixon Guilbeau, 79, passed away May 7, 2011 at the McGraw Hospice Center. She was born June 16, 1931 in Appling County, GA. A longtime resident of Jacksonville, Madelyn retired from the Duval County Schoolboard and was a member of Kernan Blvd. Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Ronnie Dubberly, her daughters Sherry Meade and Patsy Anne Dubberly; grandchildren Josh Dubberly, Christine Levy, Joel Gordon, Jeremy Gordon, Aston Spink, Jonathan Meade, Juliana Meade, Jennifer Meade and Jessica Meade, and many other relatives and friends. A celebration of Madelyn’s life will be held 11am Wednesday May 11 at the Pavilion at Kernan Blvd. Baptist Church, 4000 Kernan Blvd. Graveside services will be held 2:30pm Wednesday, May 11 at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd. Arrangements by Greenlawn Funeral Home.
