Marcelino Sanchez-Tosado, 89, of Jacksonville, passed away on March 26, 2012. Born in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico to the late Jose Sanchez and Carmen Tosado, he was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
Marcelino was a WWII veteran of the US Army and was a member of the Centro Cristiano de Adoracion.
He is survived by his loving wife, Argentina Sanchez; son, Jorge Collado (Mercedes); daughters, Mercedes Toro (Jorge) and Alice Ramos (Alberto); sisters, Luz Martinez (Anibal), Delia Arzuaga (Armando) and Iris Baez; grandchildren, Jorge C., Karisma, Ulyssa, Angela, Lissette, Jorge T., Antonio and Alejandro; great grandchildren, Alyssa, Hannah and Malakai; many other family members and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2012 with visitation one hour prior to service in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin with Pastor Victor Batista as Officiant.
