Marcia Lee Brunson, 76, was set free from her dementia on September 8, 2022. Born August 21, 1946 to Blanche & Lee Marcil in Pawtuckett, Rhode Island. She is survived by her children; Melissa Kilpatrick (Erik), Darren Groen (Candace), her brother & sister; Michael Marcil (Ali) and Michele Norris (Randy) her grandchildren; Keller Kilpatrick, Makennah Kilpatrick, Bella Van Kalleveen, Zayden Groen and great- granddaughter, due in December.
Marcia was a fun loving, happy & spirited soul that lit up every room she walked in. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister & friend. A lover of floral arranging, furniture rearranging, dinner parties, wine, the beach, scrabble, crossword puzzles, and family. Her handshakes and hugs were always firm and intentional, if you got one, you didn’t forget it.
She had a successful career in business and some of her best loved work was done as an entrepreneur. With a passion for people, she created a business called Career Development Services. Here she helped people by creating winning resumes, coached and groomed them for the interview process then helped them find & choose appropriate wardrobe. She especially enjoyed helping military men & women transition from serving our Country to finding work and transitioning as civilians. Many a success story!
She will be deeply missed by many. We are grateful for our beloved time with her and are glad that she is now reunited in Heaven with so many friends and family, especially her husband Ed. With eternal love, fly high and free.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:45pm, Monday, October 24, 2022 at Fort Caroline Gardens which was her loving home for the past 3 years. In lieu of flowers we’d like to donate new recliners to her friends there. If you would like to donate, please visit Melissa Kilpatrick Facebook page or contact her daughter, Melissa Kilpatrick.
