Margaret Catherine Green-Walker, 93, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on March 20, 2016. Margaret was born in Jacksonville, FL on August 15, 1922. She lived a very happy life and loved studying and performing music, as well as achieving various accomplishments and studies in the medical field.
Margaret was privileged to perform at Carnegie Hall and with musical peace groups in Europe and across the USA. She enjoyed her fond memories of her parents, siblings, children, and grandchildren. Her proudest career accomplishment was as an Ophthalmologist Assistant; she enjoyed assisting with the eye surgeon despite it being a very demanding job. She was also actively involved with St. Mark’s Lutheran Church by being part of the choir, singing with Bach Vespers. Margaret enjoyed classical music, church work, and being with family and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 Pm at St. Marks Evangel Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held at 12:00 PM prior to the service.
