McRAE—Margaret E. McRae, 82, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2009. She was a native of Sylacauga, AL but had lived in the Jacksonville and Nassau County area for many years. She worked for Lil’ Champ stores for 40 years in both the Yulee and Fernandina Beach locations. She was predeceased by her husband of over 40 years, Jack Walter McRae, Jr. in 1986; a sister, Thelma “Mickey” Musslewhite and 9 brothers. Survivors include; 2 brothers, Harold (Sarah) Ratchford of Columbia, AL and Charles Ratchford of Sylacauga, AL.; and a granddaughter, Pam Childers. Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Restlawn Memorial Park on Monday, March 30, 2009 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Steve Walgamott officiating. The family will receive friends at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. Sunday(TODAY) from 2:00 until 4:00 PM.
