Marie Brogdon Dieas

Marie was born in Nashville, GA on October 4, 1936 to Arthur and MaryLou Brogdon. She grew up in a beautiful farm house on the outskirts of the small town and was the eldest of four children.

Marie was young and fiercely independent when she moved to Jacksonville, Florida in the 1950’s where she worked and raised her family.

She was a member of Highlands Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville for several years. Marie enjoyed shopping, visiting family, working in her garden and going to the beach.

Marie is survived by her loving husband John Dieas, her devoted son William Steven Edalgo, her daughter Lisa Mauck (Dave), her beautiful grandchildren Kaitlyn and Jonathan, her brother Jerry Brogdon (Penny), her baby sister Susan Bennett (Ricky) and her many nieces and nephews.

Marie is predeceased by her father, Arthur Brogdon, her mother, Mary Lou, and her brother Wayne. All of Nashville, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in Marie's memory to Wuesthoff Hospice, 8360 Spyglass Hill Rd, Melbourne, FL 32940

Memorial Services for close friends and family will be held at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32211 on September 9th , 2023 at 1:00 pm with a visitation one hour prior.
