Marie Elizabeth Fricke

Marie Elizabeth Fricke, 81, passed away on February 1, 2019 at Community Hospice Hadlow Center in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on June 15, 1937 in Providence, Rhode Island to the late John Campbell and Lillian Holland.

She was an avid lover of fishing, boating and travelling. She was an animal lover, but nothing surpassed the love she had for her family. She was especially close to her sisters. Marie also enjoyed crafting and painting. This love of art carried over to a career as a graphic artist for a newspaper.

Marie is predeceased by her husband, Richard Fricke; grandson, Ian Gilbert; sisters, Dot (Dorothy) Swenson, Helen Smith, and Jeanette McDermott.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna D’Agostino of Green Cove Springs, FL; son, Raymond (Heather) D’Agostino of St. Augustine, FL; grandchildren, Christopher and Daniel D’Agostino; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Blake, and Isabella Gilbert; 8 nieces and nephews; and very close friend, Shellie Robbins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 8th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at 269 Vintage Oak Circle, St. Augustine, FL 32092.
