“God saw that you were tired and there was no cure to be
So he put his arms around you and whispered come to Me.”
And so we say goodbye to Marilyn after a valiant ten year endurance of ALS. Her indomitable spirit and courage were an inspiration to us all. She will forever be in the hearts of her sons, Greg Kupperman, Keith Kupperman and his wife Cathrine, and her pride and joy, her grandson A.J. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Fred. She will be greatly missed by her many friends. She never let her disease slow her down. Even when she was no longer on the tennis court, she still captained the team. Whether shopping in Atlanta, shows in New York, tournaments in Miami or traveling the world, if you were with Marilyn, you were having fun.
There are no words to express the gratitude the family has for Marilyn’s caretakers. Their kind, caring devotion will never be forgotten. Thank you all.
Graveside services are being held TODAY at 11:00 AM at the New Center Cemetery, 43rd & Liberty streets.
Marilyn’s memory would be honored by donations to: ALS Assoc., FL Chapter, 3242 Parkside Center Circle, Tampa, FL 33619.
Arrangements by Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 41215 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, Fl.
