

Marilyn Maron, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 1, 2026, after a long illness. She was born on May 4, 1948 and was a resident of Jacksonville, Florida for the majority of her life.
Marilyn worked as a stewardess for Delta Airlines before she married and raised her twin daughters. Later in life, she continued her work with her family at Maron’s Furniture and part-time at the Jacksonville Public Library's San Marco Branch.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her father, Joe Falis; her parents, Joan and Bernard Maron; and her nephew, Billy Maron.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Lori Dunagan (Ted) and Jill Haile (Marcus); her grandchildren, Nathan Dunagan and Meghan Haile; her brothers, Michael Maron (Jenny) and David Maron (Michele); her sister, Sara Stanfield (John); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish her memory.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Hardage-Giddens Mandarin Chapel.
