Mario R. Espino, 53, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born on December 5, 1964 in Santa Clara, Cuba to the late Mario Espino and Bertila Penalver. Mario lived in Jacksonville for 17 years and worked in the transportation industry as a truck driver, owner/operator most of his career. He loved a good party and enjoyed being the center of attention. Mario loved his family, especially his daughter and grandchildren.
Mario is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his daughter, Claudia Espino; his companion, Zoila Reyes; sisters, Jeidi Penalver, Maria Julia Penalver, and Benigna Penalver; brothers, Carlos Penalver and Juan de dios Espino; and 2 grandchildren, Isabella and Alexia Espino.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 11 am in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. Jacksonville, FL.
