Memphis, Tennessee on October 22, 1930. Marion moved to Jacksonville, Florida as a young adult and worked in finance banking with what is now Wells Fargo. She
retired from there after 40 years of dedicated service. Marion enjoyed traveling, visiting friends, bowling, and the Florida Gators. Though retired, she remained very active in her community and church and often enjoyed volunteering at the Florida Theatre and Florida Times Union center. Her nature was frugal, but generous.
She is predeceased by her parents, Eddie Paschal Lane and Leamon Carney, her two sisters, Bonnie Jeanne Chaudron St Maxine Jones, and a nephew, Gaylord Gene Crick. Marion is survived by two nieces, Cathy Pettis and Paula Williams and two good friends, Iris Burton and Michael Tinley.
Graveside services will be held at the Oaklawn Chapel/ Hardage-Giddens 4801 San Jose Blvd. on Monday, June 5, at l0am.
