Mark Kenneth Dawson passed away on October 7, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on February 5, 1956 in Miami, Florida to Ray Kenneth and Shirley Ann Dawson. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan, loved the band America, and most of all his grandchildren, Nathaniel and Avery. He worked as a manager for Famous Amos for about 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Kenneth Dawson. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Lee Dawson; son, Matthew Dawson; mother, Shirley Ann Dawson; brother, Craig Robert Dawson; and his beloved pet, Dexter.
Mark suffered from final stage renal failure, and his family would like to thank the excellent caregivers at Fresenius Dialysis Clinic, 1944 Atlantic Blvd., for the great care given to him for many years, as they were almost like family to him. A Celebration of his life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32207.
