Marlene J. Revollo, 74, formerly of Denver, CO passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 in a Jacksonville Community Hospice after a long struggle with cancer.

Marlene was born in Denver Colorado on July 21, 1938, the daughter of Edith J. Davis (Bement) and Charles A. Davis. She was raised and educated in the Denver area. She graduated from West High School in 1956 and was accepted into college in the department of X-ray Technology and then graduated in 1960. She was united in marriage to Jaime M. Revollo in 1962. Even into retirement, Marlene had managed to maintain her radiological technician licensure and professional membership in the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.

Her joys in life were natural outdoors activities especially canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting and backpacking. She even managed to combine camping with the above activities traveling along with her friends and loved ones, teaching and sharing her well-honed skills at any and every available moment. Her achievements included membership in the Trail Blazers, First Coat Trail Forgers, Side Trackers, Seminole Canoe and Kayak Club and the survivorship groups of Breast Cancer and Leukemia and Lymphoma Societies. Within the group activities, she was very active and enjoyed volunteering for numerous nature conservation and fund raising events.
