Martha Luella Davis

Martha Luella Davis, 88, Jacksonville, FL, passed away September 3, 2017. She was born in Big Stone Gap, VA and moved to Jacksonville in 1951. She worked for a catering service for many years as their Chief Cook. Martha loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and their many friends. She was a loving wife to her husband, Charlie; and devoted mother to her three children, Sandra Hazouri (Bobby), Martha Rogers (Ron), and Tom Davis; two grandchildren, Christa Powell (Erik), and David Rogers; and one great grandson, Luke Powell. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, September 7, 2017 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. The funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00am on Friday, September 8, 2017 in Deermeadows Baptist Church 9780 Baymeadows Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32256 with Pastor Larry Yarborough as Celebrant, followed by interment in Oaklawn Cemetery 4801 San Jose Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207.
