Martha Virginia Hazouri

Martha Virginia Read Hazouri (Ginny) passed away peacefully on November 10, 2014. Ginny was born in Trenton, Florida, to Carrie and Tommie Read . She graduated as an R. N. from St. Luke’s School of Nursing. She was married in 1951 to Lawrence Hazouri, and raised four children as well as worked as a nurse at various hospitals and for Dr. Robert Miller. She attended Arlington Presbyterian Church where she loved to sing in the choir. Her greatest loves, however, were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, Carrie and Tommie Read, husband, Lawrence Hazouri, daughter, Kim Hazouri, great-grandsons Jaylen Metzner and Halo Moses Polly, and by her sister, Marie Harris and brothers Marcus, Ralph and Butler Read. She is survived by her children, Bunny (Derek) Hess, Mike (Cathy) Hazouri, Tommy (Donna) Hazouri; grandchildren Jenifer (Trey) Polly, Dylan (Margaret) Hess, Phillip Hess, Lauren Hastings, Daniel (Chey) Hastings , Aaron (Francesca ) Hazouri, Jessica (Travis) Read, Jacob Hazouri; Nikki Hazouri, and great-grandchildren Madison & Drew Polly, Haylie Bryant, Derek & Sophia Hess, Skyla Metzner, Kennedy Hastings and Spencer Read; sister, Joanne (Bob) Lambright & sister-in law Rebecca Read; also many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation on Thursday, November 13 at Greenlawn funeral home, 4300 Beach Blvd. from 6-8, and a service on Friday, November 14, at 1:00 at Parkwood Baptist Church, 2900 Lone Star Road.
