Martha "Marty" T. Reynolds

Martha “Marty” Thomas Reynolds, age 90, passed away on August 20, 2015 at the Hadlow Center For Caring. She was born in Wolfe City, Texas and raised in Sherman, Texas. She spent her entire adult life in Jacksonville, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Claude Reynolds; son Claude Reynolds, Jr.; and grandson, Gregory Reynolds. She is survived by her daughters Barbara Mitchell (Tommy) and Sandra Johnson (Bill); grandchildren, Lauren Anne Shiver (Tony), Garrett Johnson and Paige Johnson; great-grandchildren, Sophie and Luke Shiver; and niece, Carol Rumph. Marty was loved by everyone for her beautiful smile and optimistic outlook. Her greatest joy in life was time spent with family and friends.

The family of Marty would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Taylor Manor for their sincere, loving care. A Celebration of her life will be held at Oaklawn Chapel and Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida, on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 11:00 am.
