Martin Allen Woods, 32, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016. Mr. Woods was a native of Jacksonville and spent his life here. He was an accomplished artist, creating beautiful portraits and was a talented tattoo artist. Martin enjoyed life and spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed the times spent installing tile with his father. Martin was predeceased by his brothers, Michael Woods and Shane Palow. Martin was a loving father to his daughter, Makenzie Edwards-Woods. Also surviving are his parents, Marty and Loretta Woods; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Hudnall; a brother, James Vincent Woods; his wife Danielle Woods and several other aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 26th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Avenue. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at New Berlin Cemetery, off of Berlin Road near the Dames Point Bridge. Pastor Jim Matthews will officiate.
