MASON - Marvin Keith Mason, 59, passed away Monday, September 7, 2015. Born in Stewart, VA, Marvin had lived in Jacksonville since he was a year old. He had retired from US Gypsum and was a member of the American Legion and former Director of the American Legion Riders. Marvin was an avid hunter and motorcyclist. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruthie Mason, in 2004. His surviving family includes: his 2 sons, Ernest A. (Brandy) Joyner and Jeremy Mason and his 3 grandchildren, Isabella Mason and Wyatt and Logan Joyner. The family will receive friends at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., Friday, September 11 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 12 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Dinsmore Cemetery.
