Mary Leonora Aulin Bartlett

BARTLETT Mary Leonora (Lona) Aulin Bartlett, age 85, of Jacksonville, Florida, died on Thursday, July 30, 2009. She was born June 28, 1924 in Oviedo, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Llewellyn (Lew) R. Bartlett, Jr. in 2001. Lona was a cherished employee of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra for 23 years until her retirement at age 75. She is survived by her four daughters, Patricia Armstrong (Tom), Alice Mabry (Neil), Margaret Bartlett (Dave Howard) and Nancy Asker (Alan); nine grandchildren, Andrew Armstrong (Michelle), Christopher Armstrong (Trish), Gray Mabry (MaeLee), Allison Mabry, Megan Smith (TJ), Emily Howard (Jonathan Roman), Lindsay Asker, Courtney Asker and Paige Asker and six great-grandchildren, Erica Armstrong, Kayla Armstrong, Sophia Armstrong, Ava Armstrong, Grace Smith and Wyatt Smith. She is also survived by two sisters and a brother, Kathryn Bunch (Dick), Bettye Reagan (Don) and Andrew Aulin (Nadine), a sister-in-law, Miriam Smith, and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends on Monday, August 3, 2009 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida. Memorial services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church—Hibernia, 6865 Pine Avenue, Fleming Island, Florida.The family respectfully requests that flowers be omitted.
