Mary C. Farrell

Mary Farrell (Nealis) was born in New York on April 18, 1937. She attended Hunter College where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and graduated with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1958.

Mary was a cherished employee of many medical organizations and hospitals, such as St Vincent’s Hospital of New York, The American Diabetes Association, and Jacksonville Medical Center, as an Administrative and Human Resources Manager. Throughout her career and personal life, she never lost her drive to learn whether it be through her countless certifications or the stacks of books that line her shelves.

Mary is predeceased by the love of her life, James J. Farrell; her two loving parents, James and Catherine Nealis; sister, Jane and brother, Dr. James Nealis GT. Mary’s wit, love of animals, and heart for her family will be forever missed by her beloved nieces and nephews as well as the many friends and neighbors that she leaves behind.

A Memorial Service will be held in her honor at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 27, 2020., at Hardage Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin,11801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32223.
